David Christopher Kelly, (14 May 1944 -- 17 July 2003) was a British scientist and expert on biological warfare, employed by the British Ministry of Defence. He came to public attention in July 2003 when an unauthorised discussion he had off the record with BBC journalist Andrew Gilligan about the British government's dossier on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Kelly was questioned aggressively about his actions. He was found dead two days later.

Well Harrowdown Hill was where David Kelly committed suicide, but it's believed the government pushed him to this point where he had no other choice hence 'I can't take the pressure, no-one cares if I live or die' after Kelly hinted that the UK's decision for invading Iraq may have been based on false information after some research he'd taken out. He became inconvenient for the ministry of defence and was 'dispensed with' they knew pressuring him could lead to suicide hence 'was he pushed?'

I love Thom Yorke and his message as much as anyone, but the more recent evidence surrounding Kelly's death is indicating that it was likely suicide. Now, could we say that this new development is simply more evidence of an ongoing conspiracy? Sure, but that feels too easy to me. I think Thom would agree it's better to focus our efforts elsewhere, like on the nearly overwhelming evidence in favour of climate change and the apparent refusal of by most country to do anything about it.
