Norwegian authorities are investigating strange lights seen in the arctic sky. The spiraling white light was seen for several minutes on Wednesday morning. Locals say the light appeared to be bigger than the moon. Thousands of Norwegians bombarded the Meteorological Institute to ask what the light could possibly be. Some feared it could have been a meteor, others a black hole and there were those who thought it could have been aliens. But defence experts in Olso suggest its more likely to have been a failed Russian missile launch from the area of the White Sea. They think a rocket probably got out of control and self destructed. There's been no official comment from the Russian Military.

This is the 2nd time we have seen these odd lights in the sky. They dont flash like planes and are too orange for stars. The night was not clear so they were not stars and they slowly moved then faded out....meteor shower? Aliens? You decided.

while going through google earth i noticed something strange at the north and south poles. there were strange circular smusge patterns. when centred on the right locations, and then zooming in and out, there appears flashes of light consistent with the smudges on the surface of the planet. I'm making this video in hopes of someone giving a resonable explanation as to what might have caused this in the imaging process. could it be magnetic forces emenating from the poles themselves?

This is the original from July 2000. This "phenomenon" was watched for 20 minutes before the call for the camera went out. A slow moving thunderhead sitting above Baltimore seen from 8 or 10 (just a guess, could be 20) miles southeast became a head scratcher. The odd changes occur at :20, :31, :37, :58, and 1:26 When the filming came back to the thundercloud it was focussed on the left and wrong part of the cloud. You can see the weird thing happen again (@2:12 or so) as it was panned into the left side when it was in the middle right section ("between those two big humps"). Any thoughts? Whatever it was it seemed VERY large, changing every 20 to 30 seconds.

Filmed Northeast Ohio March 10, 2010 8:45am. There were atleast 4-5 Jets spraying that morning. I managed to catch one and was shocked to see some strange anomilies light up in front of and on the belly of the Jet as it sprayed. Everytime I watch the footage I notice something new.The Jet itself also appears to have no insignia or markings, just a dark grey. Someone who I showed this footage to says the light is some kind of modified ignitor to activate the poison gases and or "SMART DUST" being emitted from the jet in the atmosphere. Also this kind of activity is always around when the forecast is calling for rain within the next day or two so the chemicals come down onto all of us and in the soil. There seems to be no logical reason for the mood swings people seem to have when there are chemtrails. People become noticably aggressive with extreme ups and downs. Last night my boyfriend and I were sitting along the sea front at Hythe, Kent about 8 o'clock. We looking into the distance at a further out bit of coast line and saw some weird strange lights, a bit like fireflies. At first there were three and then peaked to eight. We have no idea what they were. From seeing with my eyes one went out and then another re-lit above it. It was strange as they didn't appear to come up from the ground, they just floated roughly 200 metres in the air (there was a lighthouse near by and it looked tiny compared to the height of the lights) I've heard about these Chinese lantern things however they really didn't look like that from first hand eyesight. What do we all think? Skeptics and believers? This is 100% not fake, genuinely happened last night! (15/04/2010)

This video shows a singular light which glows quite bright and then instantly vanishes. It then slowly begins to glow again and seems to lose and gain intensity sporadically. When watching these lights for a long time, there looked to be a correllation between brightness intensity prior to a lightning bolt. Maybe this is a weird kind of lightning?

Was on my way out when I noticed a light in the sky above me. I took the following clip on my Nokia N78 mobile phone camera. Unfortunately my memory card was almost full, so I had to stop to delete some pocketpictures to make room for more, when I returned to look at the sky to start over, it was gone.

The first 20-30secs is the tracking of a single light... followed by me running up the stairs to the roof when i realised there was a whole string of them approaching! then the formation passed over-head.

This video was taken in Brookline on May 7. The video is short because I didn't think it would turn out. There were up to 10 lights at one point, all moving in one direction in no particular order before they dissapeared . We have no idea what they were, but they were moving too fast and were too high for Helicopters.
